In response to the ‘double reduction’ policy, in order to strengthen the connection between what students have learned and current events, the politics group of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus held an eight-grade sports power talk show activity in the joint classroom, which was hosted by Deputy Director Xu Lihong, and attended by the representatives of each class from Grade 7 and Grade 8.
Specifically, developing China's sports and building a strong country in sports in the new era is a significant part of realizing the Chinese dream of great national rejuvenation. Evidently, sports embodies the indomitable spirit of hard work, the enterprising spirit of exceeding limits and the competitive spirit of striving for perfection, which is highly consistent with the tenacious national spirit of the Chinese nation. On the other hand, all students prepared well before the competition and performed exceptionally on the spot, who either quoted extensively, or quoted from classics, or talked with great eloquence. Each student's speech won cheers from the judges and students.
